We Care Wildlife Sanctuary is a place of refuge for animals who have no permanent home or who require special care, and we currently house over 100 animals.
This includes around 40 turtles and tortoises, including Galapagos tortoises. We house close to 30 different primates, as well as monkeys and gibbon apes, camels, giraffes, parrots, toucans, etc.
WCWS takes in and cares for mainly surrendered exotic animals. These come mostly from the exotic pet trade, and some are recycled breeders, while others are just too old and weak for the pet and breeding trade.
Below are a few of the many animals that we have at the sanctuary, or have helped in the past. We get new animals all the time, so come to visit us often, and remember to volunteer so you can interact with the animals personally.
